Pet Day 2018

Hello my fellow bloggers again, if you didn't know we had a day called Pet Day. It's where we bring our pets to school and it's fun. I like looking at the unique animals but I've forgotten when we had it sorry, but there were lots of cool animals. I thought of getting a pet for Pet Day but I was like, "Nah!" but then I thought of taking a pet rock but I didn't do that either. Also we made  saucers called Vaseline saucers. We had to pick flower petals and then glue them on with Vaseline. They had to make a symmetrical pattern. Here is a pic of mine.

Graduation dinner for year 6

Hello my fellow bloggers if you didn't know on the 4th of December my class had a graduation dinner. It started at 6:00 pm. It was at our rugby club. But before we had dinner around 10:25 am my teacher Mrs Henderson had to pick people to carry tables all the way to the rugby club, when she picked me she said no complaining and I didn't even complain. Anyway the dinner was yummy.

Geometry

Good day bloggers for the last few weeks our focus for math has been geometry we got to choose geometry tasks to complete. In my second slide the task that I did was called Map maker this is where we choose buildings or anything to fill in the squares. The third slide is Geometry street is where we make our own street with shapes, Finally the 4th slide is Geo board is a line pattern type of geometry.

Hello Today I’m writing about a environmental problem and write 3 ways to reduce the planet, my one is about pollution we are just throwing our garbage everywhere like on the streets and in forests and oceans. Firstly, I don’t know why people are doing this but I know what we can do to solve this one, we could always recycle the trash and maybe make new things out of it. Plus we don’t want animals eating our junk they wouldn’t be available to… sorry reader, to poo it out. Secondly, We could always burn the pollution so the animals won’t die quickly. Burning the stuff could be good because come on we can’t always be good right? But as you think about it we still could be polluting in the sky because of the smoke. Finally, we don’t like people who drop trash on earth like plastic bags, chip bags, cans and other things. So why don’t we just pick up our trash instead of dropping it. Conclusion, Hello people thank you reading my Explanation writing I hope you all like how I could reduce the planet. Like recycle trash like at my school Ohaeawai primary, Also maybe burn our trash and pick up after yourselves so earth won’t be a trash ball.

Ski trip diary 2018

Good day people. If you didn't know, well of course you didn't know, my class went on a ski trip for a week. The week was amazing. When we got back our teachers asked us to do a personal diary as a slideshow.

I wanted to be in a duo and my helper is Shannon my best friend I knew him like about 5 years and this is our 6th year of being friends. My Learning Journey Evaluations 2018

Hi this week my class are doing My Learning Journey Evaluations 2018. It's when we have to write what did we do for learning. Also we have to answer these questions like - Have you achieved everything? What do you need to focus on? and  What do we want to learn next term?  I wrote DINOSAURS!! because I love dinosaurs. The god of fire

Hello this week we chose to look at a picture and write an imaginative story about. Here is my work.

The God of Fire.

200 years ago there was a man named Kratos and he was the god of fire. He had a son called Atreus. One day they were at home when, BOOM BANG! lightning struck their house. They ran outside and saw a man. Kratos yelled, “WHO ARE YOU?!”  The man had a cape and a hood and Kratos saw something on his belt- it was a hammer. Lightning kept coming from the hammer and Kratos realised he was Thor, the god of lightning and thunder. Thor wanted to kidnap Atreus because he had no son of is own so he and Kratos started to fight. Kratos pulled out his blade of flames and cracked it like a fiery whip. But Thor lifted his hammer and BOOM! BANG! Lightning kept striking Kratos but he fought on until Thor finally killed him. Then, Thor grabbed Atreus and took him up to his godly home in the sky. But Atreus never forgot his brave father.

Hi yesterday we did an environment poem, mine is about trees. We had to go outside and draw what wanted to draw and we had to write. look, feel and hear, so here is my poem about trees.

We held our own Commonwealth games and we had groups, our game was called bunny jump but it's really high jump. We had to be a country our one was Scotland. It was really fun bossing around little kids. We had breaks and I'd play some games like tug of war and some other stuff.

The owl looks cool and awesome in his tree home.The owl’s eyes are round like china. The owl’s claws and beak are sharper than a shark tooth. The owl’s feathers are brown as chocolate. The owl’s wings are the size of half a whiteboard.

What makes a talented Hunter

Yesterday our whole class did this writing it was called plain copy- What makes a good something ? I called mine What makes a talented hunter ? I changed good to talented to make it more interesting.  Here's all my work.

What makes a Talented Hunter?

                      

Have you ever wondered what makes a talented hunter? A hunter is someone who can be great at tracking down animals. To be a hunter you need always ready talented means being skillful or doing something. so a talent hunter who is skillful at hunting or tracking.

Firstly, to be a talent hunter you need to be able to be stealthy and strategizing. If your hunting you might have this grass costume, or be hide in tall grass and wait for animals. If you were surrounded by dangerous animals use your surroundings, To get away.

Secondly, talent hunters all ways have weapons like back in the past. Long ago people use bows and spears but now in the present. We use sniper rifles and rifles and hunters skin the animals with a knifes. Like you can keep the skull or skin and cook the meat.

Finally, Hunters always have wild animal pets like wolfs, dogs, eagles, owls. Hunter pets are always by your side if there with you while hunting. I think Wolfs would be the best hunter pet, I think eagles are the best pet as well for eyes in the sky and eagles can dive bomb.

Prose and poetry

Hello my class had to do a prose and poetry, their is a different between prose and poetry, prose when u have sentences and don't rhyme while poetry is when it rhymes and full stops at the end of your writing.

Treaty of Waitangi

Here is my reading task we have to Find your named box and write a literal question that could be answered by someone who has just read your text about the Treaty of Waitangi.
