Hi my name is Terei.  For our report writing we had to choose an animal to write about.  Here is my report about African Lions.

Did you know African Lions are second largest cat in the worldLions are from sub-saharan Africa. They live in the Kalahari desert, Angola, Botswana, Mozambique, Tanzania and South Sudan.

Lions live in African grasslands, savannah and scrub. Lions live in groups called ‘prides’.

Did you know African female lions or lionesses do the hunting? The male lion's guards the pride and the territory.

Lions are carnivores.Their prey includes zebras, antelopes, young elephants, buffaloes, giraffes,

young hippos, young rhinos, crocodiles and warthogs.

After a successful hunt, all the Lions share the meal.The male lions hunt on their own when they are pushed out of the pride. They return to the pride after about 18 months to 2 years.
